Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. We’re transparent about how your data is handled, stored, and protected.

1) Introduction and Contact Details of the Controller

1.1 We are pleased that you are visiting our website and thank you for your interest. The following information explains how we handle your personal data when you use our website. Personal data refers to all information that can be used to personally identify you.

1.2 The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Solviqom GmbH, Lavendelstr. 42, 85276 Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Germany

Email: info@solviqom.de

The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.

2) Data Collection When Visiting Our Website

2.1 When you use our website for purely informational purposes — that is, when you do not register or otherwise provide information to us — we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called server log files). When you access our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary to display the website properly:

  • The website visited
  • Date and time of access
  • Amount of data transmitted in bytes
  • Source/referrer from which you accessed the page
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used (in anonymized form, if applicable)

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The data will not be shared or used in any other way. However, we reserve the right to subsequently review server log files if there are specific indications of unlawful use.

2.2 For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (for example, orders or inquiries sent to the controller), this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the “https://” prefix and the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

3) Hosting & Content Delivery Network

We use a Content Delivery Network (CDN) provided by the following company:

Zebrafish Labs Inc., 423 Tehama St., San Francisco, CA 94103, USA.

This service enables us to deliver large media files, such as graphics, page content, or scripts, more quickly through a network of regionally distributed servers. The processing is carried out based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our website visitors’ data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

For data transfers to the United States, the provider has certified compliance with the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European data protection level.

4) Cookies

To make your visit to our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies — small text files that are stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser (session cookies), while others remain on your device for a longer period to save your preferences (persistent cookies). You can find the storage duration of persistent cookies in your browser’s cookie settings overview.

If personal data are also processed by individual cookies that we use, such processing takes place either pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of a contract, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR if consent has been given, or pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interests in ensuring the best possible functionality of the website as well as a customer-friendly and efficient website experience.

You can configure your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and decide individually whether to accept them, or you can exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general.

Please note that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

5) Contacting Us

When contacting us (for example, via contact form or email), personal data are collected. The specific data collected in the case of a contact form can be seen from the respective form. These data are stored and used solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or for establishing contact and the related technical administration.

The legal basis for the processing of this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted once your request has been fully processed, provided that it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved and there are no statutory retention obligations preventing deletion.

6) Use of Customer Data for Direct Advertising

Subscription to our Email Newsletter

When you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information required for receiving the newsletter is your email address. Providing any additional data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally.

For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that we will only send you an email newsletter once you have explicitly confirmed that you consent to receiving it. We will then send you a confirmation email asking you to confirm your subscription by clicking a corresponding link.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your IP address as provided by your internet service provider (ISP), as well as the date and time of registration, in order to be able to trace possible misuse of your email address at a later date.

The data we collect during the newsletter registration process will be used exclusively for sending promotional information via the newsletter. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, either via the link provided in the newsletter or by notifying the controller mentioned above.

After you unsubscribe, your email address will be immediately removed from our newsletter distribution list unless you have explicitly consented to further use of your data, or we are legally permitted to use the data for other purposes as outlined in this privacy policy.

7) Retargeting, Remarketing, and Conversion Tracking

7.1 LinkedIn Insight

This website uses retargeting technology provided by the following company:

LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

This technology allows us to target visitors to our website with personalized, interest-based advertising who have already shown interest in our products or services. Displaying these advertisements is based on a cookie-based analysis of previous and current usage behavior, but no personal data are stored in this context.

In cases involving retargeting technology, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device to collect pseudonymized data about your interests and to tailor advertising to the stored information. These cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile device. As a result, you may be shown advertisements that are highly likely to match your product and information interests.

All of the processing described above — particularly the setting of cookies to collect information from your device — will only take place if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without your consent, retargeting technology will not be used during your visit to our website.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect by disabling this service in the “cookie consent tool” provided on the website.

7.2 Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program “Google Ads” and, as part of Google Ads, the conversion tracking service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”).

We use Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites through advertising materials (known as Google AdWords). Based on the data from the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful individual marketing measures are. Our goal is to display advertisements that are of interest to you, make our website more engaging, and ensure a fair calculation of advertising costs.

A conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google Ads advertisement. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and are not intended to personally identify you. If you visit certain pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page.

Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie, so cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of different Google Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted into conversion tracking. These customers are informed of the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users.

In the course of using Google Ads, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC in the United States.

Details about the data processing triggered by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and Google’s handling of data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

All of the processing described above — particularly the setting of cookies to collect information from your device — will only occur if you have given us your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect by disabling this service in the “cookie consent tool” provided on our website.

You can also permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads Conversion Tracking by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155656?hl=en

Please note that certain functions of this website may not be available or may only be available to a limited extent if you disable the use of cookies.

Google’s privacy policies can be found here: https://business.safety.google/intl/en/privacy/ and

For data transfers to the United States, the provider is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.

8) Website Functionalities

Google Web Fonts

This website uses so-called web fonts provided by the following company for the uniform display of fonts:

Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.

When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its cache to display text and fonts correctly and establishes a direct connection to the provider’s servers. Certain browser information, including your IP address, is transmitted to the provider in this process.

Data may also be transmitted to Google LLC in the United States.

The processing of personal data in connection with establishing communication with the font provider is carried out only if you have given us your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect by disabling this service in the “cookie consent tool” provided on our website.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used instead.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European data protection level.

Further information on Google’s privacy practices can be found here: https://business.safety.google/intl/en/privacy/

9) Rights of the Data Subject

9.1 Applicable data protection law grants you the following rights regarding the processing of your personal data by the controller. The legal basis for exercising each right is referenced accordingly:

Right of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR

Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR

Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR

Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR

Right to notification pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR

Right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR

Right to withdraw consent granted pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR

9.2 Right to Object

IF WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA ON THE BASIS OF OUR PREDOMINANT LEGITIMATE INTERESTS PURSUANT TO ART. 6(1)(F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME, ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, TO SUCH PROCESSING WITH EFFECT FOR THE FUTURE.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE PROCESSING THE RELEVANT DATA. HOWEVER, FURTHER PROCESSING REMAINS RESERVED IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING THAT OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE, OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED BY US FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR SUCH MARKETING PURPOSES. YOU MAY EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES.

10) Duration of the Storage of Personal Data

The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing, and — if applicable — by the respective statutory retention period (e.g., commercial or tax law retention periods).

When processing personal data based on explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, the data will be stored until you withdraw your consent.

If statutory retention periods apply to data processed in connection with contractual or quasi-contractual obligations pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, these data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, unless they are still required for contract fulfillment or initiation, or unless there is a legitimate interest in their continued storage.

When processing personal data based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, such data will be stored until you exercise your right to object under Art. 21(1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

When processing personal data for direct marketing purposes based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, such data will be stored until you exercise your right to object under Art. 21(2) GDPR.

Unless otherwise specified within this privacy policy, stored personal data will otherwise be deleted once they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.
